What frustrates me, is if the school wants to embrace mediocrity, there are any number of coaches who would, like Brian Kelly, (1) Never win a national championship and (2) never consistently win big games. Unlike Brian Kelly, however, these mid-tier coaches would still be able to at least provide some semblance of good, if uninspiring, fundamental football without Brian Kelly's smug, foundation-less arrogance.
