I think he may be the most Rice-like QB we've had here since Rice himself (although one wonders what might have happened for Arnaz Battle with better injury luck and, again, actual coaching).

Modest size but sturdy build, decent non-classic passer but better runner, gritty winner who exudes leadership.

Of course, if he gets more than one year to matriculate under the master of big chunkage, all this talent will be as wasted as Jonas Gray, Greg Bryant, etc, etc.
