except for Clemson coming right after UMass. If you're going to play UMass at all, they do belong between GT and Clemson. But to have Navy before USC, and the bye after USC and before Temple, is just dumb, unless it was unavoidable -- and I can't imagine it would've been impossible to persuade Navy to move our game from the 10th to the 24th.
Instead, I think Swarbrick acceded to Kelly's desire to have an off-week on the back-end of Fall Break. That strategy flopped this year and could blow up again in 2015 (and 2016 as well).
