It took Meyer all of one month to ready a third string QB to play well enough to get OSU to the national championship game. But, well into 2 years, Kelly thought Zaire was not, until the last part of the last game of the season, ready enough to replace a slumping, turn-over prone QB. Kelly now thinks that Zaire is not ready enough to declare him the permanent starter. Kelly should stop his, “these kids aren’t smart enough to play my offense” crap and start coaching his gifted athletes for who they are; not for what Kelly wants them to be (perhaps for what Kelly wanted to be).
