I just received an e-mail from the ND Club of Chicago, advertising some new speakers at the Rockne dinner.

Kapron Lewis-Moore is listed as "Starting defensive end and co-captain of 2013 BCS National Championship team".

Is the Club pulling an Alabama and claiming a National Championship?

I know this is completely meaningless, but it did make me laugh.

Who else are the new speakers?

Last year it seemed like they had 2 speakers total. Kelly and I forget who else.

If you put Lou at the Dinner every year I would go. He was great a few years ago.

Alabama claims one like that. *

Everyone eligible had one loss or more....

And our one loss was a loss to the #2 team at the time (and #1 at the end of the year) and on a neutral field...

Alabama lost to then #15 (#5 at the end of the year) and at home.

So it is not surprising a computer could spit us out as #1.

I like the logic

We're #1 because our only loss was to the #1 team.

No wonder we lost--our team was infiltrated by double agents *
