He is a very good coach and that was a nice comeback and win.
On the other hand, the defensive minded coach let up 40+ to the only 3 decent teams they played this year. I'm not sure how winning an offensive shootout over Baylor (hardly a team loaded with talent) does much to prove why his strengths and weaknesses as a head coach are any different than they were yesterday.
He would be a solid, dependable hire should Kelly leave. Sort of like buying a Honda Accord. Not too flashy, wouldnt have many bad seasons, but questionable how many great ones he would have.
