Admittedly, I don't know. I would expect that the players have resources available to them as members of the football team/program.

By contacting other schools and perhaps even reaching an agreement to transfer, he's no longer part of the team. He's a student at Notre Dame, and would be given all resources available to students. But not all resources are created equal.

For the sake of argument, let's say that he decides to go to Clemson. Should he be participating in an organized study hall with the ND team in that scenario? I'm not talking about kicking him to the curb, obviously, but that doesn't seem to be an appropriate scenario.
