Oh yes, and he stridently defended the ACC's corrupt OPI call at the end of ND-FSU, based entirely on the distorted and incomplete replay ABC and Herbstreit offered seconds after it happened. Fuck him and his "expert analysis."

I recall something about officials having to travel too much if an indendent group were put together (which is BS). Has any credible media source written on the subject in the past?

Regional based crews that would be graded and assigned accordingly. The only reason to have a crew cross regions would be for a intersectional match up.

eg ND play USC: pull a crew from the East or South
