Why not start Golson but openly state Zaire will get snaps as well?

By starting Zaire over Golson, it gives the impression that Golson has lost his job and heading into 2015, a year that's very important for Kelly and ND, you now have a blazing QB controversy.

Furthermore, you now run the risk of Golson being pissed and transferring. Now if the staff thinks Zaire is better and will start next year, I guess Golson transferring is not a big deal.

But remember, all the Kelly Chuckleheads around here screamed all offseason that finally Kelly had the QB he needed to win. And now, a few months later, we are ready to move onto the next guy? Eventually, when do you look at the head coach, this great developer of QBs, and think WTF is he doing?

So yeah, this is a very peculiar, but interesting, decision by Kelly.
