disparities even in between the regular student body graduation rates of an ECU compared to a Notre Dame.

There are some extremely egregious examples (Cal, Michigan, UNC, and some others) where the disparity between the football program and the regular student body is disgusting, but it's not quite as cut-and-dry as saying "every school should graduate players at the rate ND does". Not every school even has the resources or the infrastructure to graduate their regular students at a decent clip like we do.
