All successful coaches meet the criteria.
If a coach is successful, then he meets the criteria.
If a coach does not meet the criteria, then he will not be be successful.
A coach will succeed only if he meets the criteria.
Not unless a coach meets the criteria, will he succeed.

All of the above are logical equivalents.

Not: if a coach meets the criteria, he will be successful.
Not: if a coach is not successful, then he does not meet the criteria.
