If we were able to completely reinvent ourselves before this game, then MZ is the better overall fit for the Chip Kelly style offense Brian Kelly in theory wants to run. That's because he can pass (possibly a bit worse than Golson) and he can run the read option (which Golson appears to be incapable of executing). Both of them can hand the football to a RB -- but even there MZ would be better because of the option threat being real with him.

Since we can't reinvent our offense, Golson has the highest odds of running the shitbag one we have the best. If we are going to just throw it 48 times -- if we get the ball often enough to go 3 and out 16 times -- then Golson has the higher odds of completing more passes IMO.
