than he did by the end of the season. Much better in some of those early games. Maybe his name never should have been mentioned as a potential Heisman candidate. His mechanics seemed better, he didn't fixate on one target, he did not appear rattled in the first 2 or 3 games. I wish Kelly had it within himself to have seen the struggles and changed things up a bit after a couple of really tough games. Take a little pressure off him for 5 or 6 quarters and who knows, maybe his game would have come back around and been solid.
