I think Golson has to earn the job back in practice by doing the things he needs to do to be successful. And it would be helpful if Kelly's gameplan eased him into things more and allowed him to get in a rhythm.
Not that he should be able to hold Kelly hostage by forcing him to play him, but if Golson doesn't think he has a chance to be the starter in 2015, he might head out the door. And I don't think that would be a positive outcome. We don't need to go back to square one where we have zero QBs with any experience.
