Does any remember what the letters TDG mean?

I know who you mean but not what the letters stand for. Would appreciate a little help for someone who reads more than he posts.

An outdated method of referring to a former basketball coach

TDG is short for "The Dead Guy", and is sometimes used to refer to former ND basketball coach Matt Doherty.

The reference is to the Sopranos, and Tony's assertion that his mother was "dead to him" during the second season. To most posters, Doherty is "dead to us" because of things done and said during and since his exit from ND after one season.

The reference was "officially" retired in the summer of 2001, but still gets used occasionally.
