They're conflating Pat Haden's stated desire to win the "right" way with his standing behind Lane Kiffin. As should be obvious to all, Kiffin is a lot of very, very bad things, but Tyrone Willingham isn't one of them. I don't recall any ND recruiting class being predominated by refugees from diploma mills.
Southern Cal will be rid of the NCAA's recruiting sanctions one year from now. Haden should fire Kiffin by the end of the 2013 regular season, and absolutely no later than the end of 2014. If that doesn't happen, it would prove Haden is incompetent, but not that too much of ND rubbed off on him.
I think those folks need ND to administer a few 31-38 point beatings on USC to knock some sense into them.
