If you re-read my post, you'll notice that I was speaking in general, and not referring to you specifically. Ordinarily, I'd make a snide remark about reading comprehension, but as others pointed out it's commendable you're posting around these parts at your age. Also, I did make the remark in a thread you started, so I can see why it would be construed that way.
At any rate, here's my apology (note that I never at any time called you names as many others did or even poked fun of your ridiculous premise). I would advise you learn some thicker skin. I learned it the hard way on the BR once, and so have many other posters.
your advice. I admit I am to thin skinned, especially at my age. I will try to do better. Bleed,s I was not offended by your post and probably should not have posted a reply about the snakes in the grass at Cartier Field. But as you stated, I will try to learn from my mistakes. Thanks again for your post.
Keep posting. A man of your experience has a lot to offer--maybe not quite like this next time, but...
And thanks for calling me both young and hip. The former is relative, I suppose, but the latter is honestly a first for me.
You lost your RH privileges for making obnoxious, unwarranted comments about Gunner Kiel. This thread doesn't say much about why you should get them back.
if had to go stand in the corner ?
You should never talk about your relationship with BoardOps or your status with respect to what board you can post on.
Have some.
She had just left the Stone Poneys and did four nights
if memory serves at the Bitter End. I caught three shows
and sat in the first row center for one. She wore no
shoes,a minidress,a flower in her hair, and was very
beautiful. I sat closer to her than to my keypad
and parts of her back-up band were later the Eagles.
drooling over that picture of young Ms. Ronstadt. I'd forgotten how outrageously hot she was once upon a time.
It shouldn't be considered the "kids table."
Thanksgiving that has the chairs that put your knees up around your ears?
As I understand it, Rock's House is intended for the serious discussion of matters relating to Notre Dame football. Suggesting that our All American caliber corner be moved to running back is not serious, it's ridiculous. It's not just a bad idea, it's an idea unworthy of consideration. If thinking that Rock's House would be better off without that type of "contribution" makes me pompous, then so be it.
IS FROWNED UPON IN THIS ESTABLISHMENT!

Dollar salary from the Eagles and wasn't banned. I thought that
was the most preposterous post I have ever read. It doesn't
even make sense. Russell enjoyed a fine HS career at
running back.....
Who would replace Russell at CB? This doesn't pass the laugh test.
We have several outstanding prospects at RB......Russell
has AA possibilities there....However,the poster may have
just thrown the idea of moving him to offense as a
mere ponderance knowing that he performed well there in HS
and that Riddick and Wood had graduated.
punts and kick offs. The odds of him in the backfield seem very remote. However, I wouldn't discount the possibilty of Kelly getting him out there on offense too. He'll have to prove himself to be a real dominant player for that to happen.... He's off to a good start.
the ball. I can't remember the context of the post you noted, but his past stats there are solid. Kelly found a way to get him on the field at corner. He transitioned nicely and played exceptionally well for a Fr at that position winning FR AA honors.
Could he play 2 positions (Deion Sanders)? Maybe....
He's a very gifted athlete and it's interesting how Mike Frank picked up on his versatility early on....
"Russell is an extremely versatile player that could end up at a number of positions at the next level. He was a standout running back during his high school career, finishing with 4557 yards and 50 touchdowns on the ground. Russell rushed for 1850 yards and 20 touchdowns as a junior and rushed for 1293 yards and 14 touchdowns as a senior despite missing three games due to injury." http://www.irishsportsdaily.com/recruiting/notre-dame-football-recruiting/6414-in-the-film-room-keivarae-russell

suspended by JVAN for calling then Gov Schwarzeneger a dolt. (I'd like a review of that one BTW) I've never been "granted" a golden ticket to Rocks House...Who cares? I like peanuts and beer, let them eat cake and get over it.
And if you wanted RH access, all you had to do was ask.
I wasn't going to post in this thread, but I sure don't understand your assertion.
You don't even need to ask permission.
I like Cartier better
With the driving out of the snakes, the capture and banishment to harsher lands and the subsequent appeal to the indigenous population. Interesting. Now, if your birthday would be 17, March, then I'm going to lock the doors and pray a rosary, shor en be Begorra.
Wait a second....you don't think BoardOps might be Druid priests, do you?
Man, would that explain a lot.
I smiled at the reference to the Druid priests. My sister was quite sure the Druids put a curse on our family. At times I think she may have been right.
Princess Vespa: I am Princess Vespa, daughter of Roland, King of the Druids.
Lone Starr: Oh great. That's all we needed. A Druish princess.
Barf: Funny, she doesn't look Druish.
He does appear to be pushing 80 years old. I can respect that.
an attorney, you might want to check the posts of bleedsgreen04 and FL_irish so you know the facts, before becoming judge and jury.
My judgment was passed on your post. It was found wanting.
In case you wondered, your other posts in this thread also suck.
classy response. And you made my point. You boys on RH write much better than I am capable of as I stated on my post. Also I am to old for you really hip boys. Facts do matter and if you read the posts on RH that I refered to, my post " may" make more sense.
Thus your but hurts because those young fellers are making fun of the oppressed masses on Cartier.
There reference is talking about the internet trolls who sit quietly waiting for their chance to post in Rock's House to cause a whole lot of people to get bent out of joint by posting something really stupid. You know something like the original post that they refer to (Let's move one of the best players, who plays a position in which there is little depth, to a position where there is still a good deal of depth, where his contributions would be questionable at best).
There is an expectation that Rocks House have a higher quality of posts and discourse. Unfortunately, that is rarely met, but I'm not throwing the baby out with the bathwater. I still hold out hope that most people will learn what makes a good post/poster and what makes a bad one.
I agree with what they said, it appears that people get a handle, sit around waiting for their chance to jump to Rocks House and then don't understand why their posts suck, because they've not read enough.
So then you get post exactly like this one. People bitching and moaning because they haven't read the board enough to understand, or that have had their feelings "hurt" on a message board.
In all honesty, I have no idea why you wasted your time in this little tantrum, and even worse I have no idea why I wasted my time in responding.
NDNation is young and hip.
Whatever "Green" has been drinking, he needs to give it up for Lent.
We should at least figure out what the hell he's talking about before banning him.
