Per 24/7 Sports' amalgam of the others' recruiting rankings:

Oklahoma: #15 with one 5-star guy and 7 4-stars.
Texas: #16 with one 5-star guy and 6 4-stars.

After the fadeout years both had last year, this would've been the year they collected talent for a run at returning to the top. Looking like two past-prime coaches right now, though certainly Mack Brown more than Stoops. But if I were a fan of either school, I'd be worried.

SEC conference. Rivals has them 8th in recruiting (Texas 23rd). Mack Brown may be heading for the Sunny Acres Retirement Home if he doesn't get his act together.

Mack Brown has been a great recruiter

and a lousy everything-else coach his entire career. If he can't recruit anymore, Texas is going down faster than a streamlined brick.
