reason for what we saw in that game. They had better players at nearly every position, they had a second string of players as good as or better than our first string players at every position, they were well coached, they were well practiced, they executed nearly perfectly. They came to the game ready, willing, able, and very, very focused. And we were just not as good in all those aspects. Recruiting well helps to move up as far as position depth is concerned, but it will take years before these young players will be as experienced and tough as what AL already has, and will keep year in and year out. With any luck at all, we should make the gap a little smaller; but I saw a big gap and we won't close that gap this year or for a few years, if ever.
