charges of burglary, grand theft and possession of stolen goods after being arrested last week near the campus on suspicion of receiving stolen property, officials said Wednesday."

"Two days later, Pomee was charged with five felony counts, including burglary, grand theft and three counts of receiving stolen goods including an iPad, an iPad Mini and iPhone 5, court records show. Pomee pleaded not guilty Jan. 31 and will appear in court again Feb. 15, said Jane Robison, spokeswoman for the Los Angeles County district attorney's office. He is free on $110,000 bail."

“DPS officers responded to an intoxicated student who passed out in an alley behind the location,” the entry said. “The student became combative when contacted by the officers and had to be physically subdued. The officers found the student in possession of a tablet computer and other property that did not belong to him and they subsequently determined that the items had been stolen."

And based on recent precedent, he'll be back on the practice field the day he gets out of the joint.

Is the local "hoosegow" considered a socal athletic dorm? *

We've had our share of players with problems too. It happens with 18-21 year olds. USC beat us like a rag doll for a decade. We still haven't achieved the level they were at in 2003-4.

Especially in light of the bad news the other day *

Remember when they were trying to spin Kiffen and Orgeron's recruiting skills? Norm Chow as the OC?

Hell, Haden is a recruiter now, offering basketball schollies to freshman girls.

What a bunch of donkeys.

He had a very well thought out escape plan. It's brilliant.

In particular our friend's contribution that the player was the one who called the police and then passed out and that stolen items were found around him.

The poster thinks it's a setup.

Actually, he caught the crook, retrieved the items,

celebrated too much on his way to the precinct and passed out. He'll be fine.

so cal is putting together a good citizen award for him and that should cover it.

($110K bail is pretty telling.)

It still blows my mind that D-1 athletes can't outrun the cops....

Where does a College kid come up with $110K for bail? *

There are always bags of cash floating around the squad. Maybe the team will kick in...

My guess is that kiffin is planning a jail break involving a stick of TNT and that god foresaken trogan horse. He just needs to find some strong rope to link to the jail bars and he'll be all set...

good spin
