Our client, a global big data company, is looking for a B2B Partner Development Marketing Manager with mad market skills to join their rapidly growing marketing organization. You’ll be hired on to help them create and manage a wide scope of new partners.

Nitty Gritty
Unless you’ve been hiding under a rock, the modern enterprise-level C-suite is obsessed with getting a lock on their “big” data — structured and unstructured in order to gain an edge. Speed of data, Given this, big players from IBM to Terra Data are seeking global domination in the space along with a handful of top-tier insurgents (the camp our client is a part of). And with data, there are lot’s of moving bits for CEOs, Analysts and Marketers alike to consider. And there is a ton of confusion in the market about what is needed to succeed with the Tsunami of data coming at them.
This is where you come in. Your job is to help our client simplify their messaging and help partners truly understand all the tools that are available to them.
The product this company built literally upends data processes and streamlines like no other data discovery product has. In fact, it’s the only solution that serves the entire gamut of data insight needs, from big data discovery to enterprise reporting to the sharing of big data among disparate organizations.
You’ll come in and spend some time understanding the company, its platform, and its customers. There’s a ton of data on hand, so you’ll use this to develop an understanding of how their customers use their digital properties and the marketing levers you can use to get more people into the funnel and increase conversions.
They need a strategic thinker and partner marketing pro with some ad tech and fin tech experience who can elevate the brand and help them define their unique value and how it translates to new markets. To wit: you’ll direct the implementation and ongoing management of marketing programs designed to keep partners happy and informed. Building solid relationships with new and current partners will ultimately drive both leads and revenue.
You will be working closely with partners to make sure they have the right tools and completely understand the product.
Big push for this year — bringing in new channel partners. You will be working closely with the consulting and education groups to market education offerings to partners.

Hired Gun Profile
B2B is your chosen marketing lane. And within B2B, you’re a gifted partner marketer. You’ve spent several years in partner marketing, either on the agency or the client side. You know how to onboard partners to a new digital platform and know that when customers are happy, business is booming.
Digging into the data and developing an understanding of customer usage patterns is a fun challenge for you. Designing a strategy for strong partner development and marketing for enterprises software is easy for you.
Acquisition is great and you know that retention is just as important. You’ve worked with Product and Tech teams in the build features that drive loyalty and make digital experiences that are as sticky and addictive as they are profitable.
