Seeking an Analytical Technical Instructor

ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
A motivated, outgoing, independent person responsible for teaching technical classes of 10-20 people. Classes are taught 3 days per week, covering both hardware and software supporting analytical instrumentation. Courses are taught in St. Joseph, MI and Henderson, NV. Travel will be required several times a year throughout the US. Travel expense account will be provided; in addition to a competitive medical and dental benefit package, 401K, paid holidays and vacations, and much more.
• Must have good communication skills, and be comfortable with public speaking
• Able to travel as needed (typically 4-6 days per trip)
• On-the-job training will be provided as necessary

QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
• BS/AS degree (chemistry or technical; others will be considered also)
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to function independently as well as in a team environment
• Customer service-oriented personality is helpful
• Willingness to travel domestically as required (less than 20% total)

PREFERRED SKILLS
• Electrical and mechanical knowledge helpful
• Understanding of basic statistical principles
• Comfortable with Office programs (especially Microsoft Power Point)
• Proficient computer skills and troubleshooting (Microsoft Windows)
