ND opens with the Irish Classic in San Antonio with 3 weak opponents -- Lafayette, Saint Louis, and Incarnate Word -- plus a 4th game TBD. Then they play the Tony Gwynn Classic in San Diego, against USD and 2 opponents TBD, and then the Irish Classic in Cary, NC against Maryland, UMass Lowell, Rhode Island and Monmouth. URI is the only early opponent and only OOC opponent who made the NCAAs. The ACC schedule starts March 10-12 at Clemson, followed by a single game at Davidson and then at Pitt on March 17-19. The home opener is March 21 against Northern Illinois, and the home conference opener is March 24-26 against Florida State. ND also will play at Michigan and host MSU in single games, plus Central Michigan at the Tigers' Comerica Park in Detroit, and will close the home schedule with 3 OOC games against Austin Peay on May 12-14.
