ND is in last place behind BC; Swarbrick, you're up
by ndgotrobbedin97 (2016-05-20 20:00:14)

Your hire from BC has just fallen below that program in the standings. That is humiliating. This is an incredible collapse, and there seems to be no recovery from this death spiral.

This simply can't stand.

11-1 loss tonight put us 1/2 game behind BC

who was rained out at Georgia Tech. ND is now in 12th place out of 14 -- last in the Atlantic Division, albeit with a better record than the bottom two in the Coastal (Pitt and VT). The bottom line is that we're playing ourselves out of the ACC tournament (only the top 10 qualify), and Swarbrick soon will be on the clock. In fact, if UNC wins tonight (and they lead NC State 8-2 in the 6th, with a rain delay), I think we'll be mathematically eliminated in the absence of any make-up games.

See you next season. Thanks, Mik. *

in the ACC Atlantic. 11-17 in ACC, 27-27 overall, 2-11 in May, 4-15 in the last 30 days. Pathetic.

Let's see if JS tries to explain this away as a slump

Slumps that last this long are called failures. Hard to justify, but I wonder if he'll try.

I'm sure that's exactly how it will be spun, and he'll use

last year's NCAA appearance as "proof" of moving in the right direction.

6 yrs; 1 regional, 2 and 'cue. Hard to excuse

But, I'm with you. His talking points will revolve around last year.

The only positive was seeing Kutsulis hit a HR today.

Bielak getting 9 strikeouts on Thursday was also nice.

Almost everything else was a clinic in frustration.

It's time to move on from this staff. *
