Back in the day, pitch counts were never considered. Top flight pitchers threw three games a day if necessary. I agree with an earlier remark that you made that we have no bell cow but Nasland is not that fragile--inconsistent but not a weak pitcher.
When runners are at 1st and 3rd the staff concedes 2nd.
