It just won the Lake Elsinore Regional, beating USC in a marathon final, 14-10 in 11 innings, a game which ended at 4:10 am ET today. UC Santa Barbara was the ostensible host of this region, which was played 165 miles from its campus. They went 2-and-out, losing to SDSU and USC, both of which are closer to Lake Elsinore (which is in Riverside County).

Virginia will play tonight's UCLA-Maryland winner in the Super Regionals.

P.S. -- Michigan also was eliminated yesterday.
