the ACC 12-2 over the first 2 rounds. Power 5 records with additional remaining round 2 games in parenthesis being played today due to yesterday rain-outs:

ACC 11-2 (1-ND); Clemson out, other teams all undefeated
SEC 10-4; Ole Miss out, Auburn and A&M 1-1, other 4 2-0
PAC12 7-4 (1-OSU); UCLA, Oregon, ASU, & USC 1-1, Cal 2-0, OSU 1-0
Big10 6-3 (1-Ill); Iowa, Michigan, & Indiana 1-1, Maryland 2-0, Ill 1-0
Big12 2-3 (1-Texas); TCU & OK State 1-1, Texas 0-1.

So far 5 home teams have lost with the big surprises #1 overall Seed UCLA losing to Maryland and UCSB being knocked out by Virginia. The other 3 are Ok State losing to Arkansas, Dallas Baptist losing to VCU and Texas A&M losing to California. Let's make Illinois #6. It also might give ND an outside chance to host the super-regional if they can win out depending on other results.

The Champaign and Nashville winners play each other

So the only way for ND to host a Super Regional would be to win in Champaign and hope Vandy blows its regional after the 2-0 start. ND would've been better off with Indiana winning yesterday.

You're right, could mean bubble teams Va or Md end

up hosting unless UCLA comes back. I always thought it would be better if they reseeded but forgot it's based on bracket.

UCLA has a better shot than most losers' bracket teams

Maryland used their best pitcher last night. Their No. 2 guy is out with an injury.
