Boulder averages a foot of snow in April. Syracuse averages about 4 inches. Throw Title IX into the mix, and it's easy to see why SU and CU don't play baseball.

Madison gets less snow in April (2.6 inches), but that's still nearly double the April average in South Bend (which has a higher annual average due to the lake effect, but lower average in April because it's not as cold).
