I am looking to purchase a half a side of beef and a whole hog in the near future. Can someone give me an idea what size freezer I will need. Going by the average weight,I will be getting around of 500 pounds of meat. I currently have a 7 cu ft chest freezer plus the freezer included with my refrigerator. Any advice is appreciated.
