I was researching the Black Death recently when I remembered that it was the field of specialty of one of my favorite ND professors, Fr. Dohar. I googled the book title and it linked to various biographical sites for Fr. Dohar. I was surprised to learn that he no longer goes by "Father" nor does he list his priesthood in his biography. I assumed from this that he has left the priesthood. Does anyone have any additional information on this? I understand that this was a terribly difficult decision for him, and so I obviously would understand if people are not comfortable sharing this information.
