OK Miami/Ft Laud folks, I need your help.

We're arriving in Ft. Lauderdale at 4:00 on Sunday. We're staying in Ft Lauderdale (SE 10th Ave/SE 17th St area). Any recommendations for restaurants/bars for Sunday night? Casual atmosphere would be preferable.

None of us have been to South Beach before, so we were thinking of driving down there before heading to the stadium for a late breakfast/early lunch. Any recommendations as to where we should go/what we need to see?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

It looks like a short trip, but it really takes an hour at least. A1A Beachfront Ave. is bumper to bumper cars.

has a Sunday night party at Maguires Hill 16, not far from where you will be staying
Ft. lauderdale casual dining, this is always a fave (link)
