For insurance purposes, you need proof it wasn't your fault, so these guys have their cams going all the time. Jalopnik.com has hundreds of "crazy shot captured on a Russian dash cam" posts. I doubt he's getting ricin/polonium, sort of hard to hide a crash like that.
