Reeder, Twitterrific or Tweetbot, Goodreader, Evernote, theScore, Instapaper, Dropbox

I use OmniFocus for task management, but that is probably overkill for most people, as Reminders serves the purpose for basic use

Kindle app and iBooks for books.

iWork apps (Pages, Numbers and Keynote) if you need that capability
