is the best solution for me remaining awake and alert while driving on a long trip late at night. Ideally, he has friends in California willing to stay up late and talk to him, and hopefully he has a hands free blue tooth in-car setup.
2006 MSU game will also do in a pinch.
How would you know where he's going?
On a related note, I normally get a large bag of sunflower seeds when I have a long drive ahead of me. The constant splitting, chewing and spitting keeps me from dozing off.
I like either very blue comedy or random political stuff for my long/overnight drives. The comedy keeps me laughing, the political stuff keeps me talking. The extra stimulation of using another sense working does the trick for me. If he's a car singer, then whatever music he will sing to should work. I'm not a big car singer, but sometimes metal with crazy drums works for me, as I drum away on the wheel.
Hopefully that all makes sense.
Team of Rivals - (About Lincoln and his cabinet) 36 CDs. The best audio book I've ever listened to.
The Demon Under the Microscope (about the development of antibiotics) - very good. Almost like a novel.
The Alchemist's Daughter - a novel by Katharine McMahon. A story of a young lady during the early 1700s in England. Excellent
One Minute to Midnight - Michael Dobbs (about the Cuban Missile Crisis) - very good.
Oh, and a few bottles of "5 Hour Energy"
If he starts to feel tired, grab the bill, crack the window and hold it outside the car. You will not doze off if it means dropping that Benjamin.
