Those of you that have GPS units, how many of them stay charged vis the cigarette lighter? Our current one didn't do this and I see several Garmins have the same issue.

Recommendations would be great.

My will never stay charged. I always have to plug it in. *

I've got a Nuvi 1690

that plugs into the lighter. Works like a charm when plugged in but has limited life on the battery...hour or two would be my guess.

That said, it's a great GPS.
