Alas, I was pretty much stuck in the Grand Ballroom for the evening and never made it to the hotel bar. I did take advantage of the whisky at the cocktail bars outside the ballroom however. Not a bad night for being surrounded by doctors and their spouses.
Being at home in classy joints, I will make an effort to get back there to try that beer.
