TV adaptation of NYT best selling novel. It is the story of an extended Jewish family in Poland in WWII. It follows the various family members’ efforts to survive, each in their own way.

It is heavy and disturbing, as it should be. But well worth the time watching. It is not a binge watch type series. It is hard enough to watch one episode at a time.

It's rough but worth it.

I'm watching it along with Masters of the Air for a double dose reminder of how evil the Nazis truly were.
